
Joslynn Tacker was recently crowned Miss Rodeo Texas Teen after participating in the pageant in Amarillo.
Tacker is the daughter of Paula and Clint Tacker. Paula was the former AgriLife Extension Agent for Orange County.
Joslynn is an 18 year old from Buna who plans to attend LSC-O majoring in nursing and communications. She will not only attend classes but will travel across Texas during her reigning year participating in various events in the rodeo industry. Joslynn will carry the American and Texas Flag at various rodeos on horseback, social media content with sponsors and ride in local parades.
Her first appearance will be in Stanford, Tx. this weekend, participating in the parade, all rodeos and various events that are part of the Texas Cowboy Reunion.
Tacker also won Miss Rodeo Buna Bridle Queen Pageant in February 2025. She then competed and won the Louisiana High School Rodeo Queen Pageant in June 2025 and advanced to the National High School Rodeo Pageant in Rock Spring, Wyoming.
She enjoys representing the western way of life and the sport of rodeo, as well as representing Southeast Texas.
