Baylee Smith announced Tuesday in front of her friends and family that she’ll be taking her softball talents to Kilgore JC.
Smith has had a phenomenal career with the Deweyville Pirates, finishing with more than 800 strikeouts and being named the district MVP.
She also lead her team in batting average (.464) and doubles with 13 and was second in RBI’s. She’s also a repeat performer on the ALL-KOGT Softball Team.
Kilgore should look forward to having Smith and Bridge City’s Nicole Sasser. They finished this season with a record of 9-41.
