Wednesday morning, West Orange-Cove Superintendent Dr. Alicia Sigee met with students at West Orange-Stark Middle School for a Student Roundtable. Students from each grade level had the opportunity to give their perspective on the issues affecting their campus, share what improvements they’d like to see, and ask questions directly to the Superintendent. Hearing from students helps the administration understand the impact district and campus policies have on students’ day-to-day learning, and empowers students to make their voice heard in shaping their learning environment.
The roundtable will reconvene later in the school year to evaluate the progress made since this first meeting.
