Tuesday the Orange Rotary Club had a ribbon cutting and dedication of a Peace Pole at Sunset Park on 16th Street.
A Peace Pole is a monument declaring the message “May Peace Prevail on Earth” in the language of the country in which it is planted and usually several other languages. The pole in Orange features the message in English, French, Spanish and Vietnamese. The pole also features a QR Code that gives you detailed information.
The project was chaired by Rotarian Susie Davis. In the video below, President Paul Dickerson gives more information about the dedication.
