Back on August 16 Robert’s Restaurant announced the restaurant would close but the Deli and Meat Market would stay open. Now the longtime local business has announced that they will close permanently at the end of the year.
In a release the business said, “It is with a heavy heart to tell everyone that as of December 31, 2025, Robert’s Meat Market will close. Robert and Becky are wanting to fully retire. These two people have worked hard for the last 45 years and very well deserve to relax. Monday we will be opening at 9:00 instead of 8:00. We will be getting ready for the final sale. All grocery and drinks will be discounted to half price. That Does Not include Meat. Our Ground Chuck will be limited to 5 pounds per person. We thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your patronage.”
