
Ralph N. Chambers, 82, of Lumberton, Texas, passed away on April, 19 2020, at, home surrounded by his friends and family.
Ralph was born in Kilgore, Texas, on January 1, 1938, the son of Lenzie Chambers and Lottie Chambers. Ralph was a loving husband, a wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Ralph was a very hard worker and worked for 40 years as an electrician and sign installer for State Sign. Ralph was also a member of the IBEW 479 and IBEW 716. Family was very important to him, he loved seeing his family and spending as much time with them as possible. Ralph was a lover of nature and enjoyed hunting, fishing, being in the woods, and working in his garden. Ralph blessed his family and friends with many memories that will keep him alive in their hearts forever. He may be gone but he most certainly won’t be forgotten.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lenzie Chambers and Lottie Chambers-Hunter and step-father William Hunter; brothers, Johnny Chambers, Bobby Chambers, and Clyde Chambers; and his grandchild Shayna Sanderson
Ralph is survived by his loving wife Linda Chambers; children, Cheryl Gordon and husband John of Hitchcock, Texas, Jennifer Feather and husband David of Lumberton, Texas, Ralph Lenzie Chambers and his wife Michelle of Wesson, Mississippi, and Craig Chambers and his wife Alisha of Port Neches, Texas; grandchildren, Bella Chambers, Sawyer Chambers, Israel Chambers, Kenon Chambers, Genesis Chambers, Josh Miller, Jessica King and her husband Matthew, Alyssa Harkrider, Nick Clark, and Trevor Clark and 10 great-grandchildren.
Private graveside services are under the direction of Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home.
