Paul Keith ’P.K.’ Riley, age 96, passed away August 6, 2020. Born in Bartlesville, Ok. June 30, 1924 to Harold Roland and Mildred Crystal (Keith) Riley, his family moved to Texas in his youth.
Graduating from Port Neches Groves high school in 1942, he attended Texas A&M University, and then joined the U.S. Marine Corp (VMFA 115) and proudly served in the south Pacific for the duration of WWII.
Paul married Winifred Watson in 1945, moved to West Orange and went to work for Dupont, retiring in 1987. He was a Master Mason (Port Neches Masonic Lodge No. 1163, A.F. & A.M.) for over 70 years.
A kind person, Paul never met a stranger, and was much loved and respected by all.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, his daughter Lynda Haworth, son Konrad and his much loved sister Connie Purkey.
He is survived by his children Kim and Ed Sauer, Jesse Riley, Raylan and Wendy Riley. His nieces Karen Jo Purkey, Waydene Peete, nephew Gene and wife Kathy Purkey.
He was’ Poppi’ to his grandchildren and great grandchildren; Drew and Cindi Haworth, David and Kathy Haworth (Christopher), Megan and Shane King (Riley, Charlotte, Harper), Marisa Riley, Hollyn and Justin Keith (Connor, Hannah, preceded in death by Carter), Britney Sauer, Sean and Sarah Riley (Allyson Deslatte, Sam, Sophia, Lincoln), Jessica and D. J. Montgomery (Ansley and Abby Moore, Reid).
Paul is also survived by his loving friend and companion Dorothy (Tino) Bordelon.
The family would like to express its gratitude for the wonderful attention given to Poppi at Stonewood Senior Living Facility by John Toney, Stormy Abrego and the rest of the awesome caregivers there.
