On Wednesday, May 9th, 2024, the Orange Police Department Narcotics Division executed narcotics search warrant in the 300 block of Knox Avenue in Orange, Orange County, Texas. This search warrant was executed after an investigation into the illegal distribution of Crack Cocaine within the City of Orange. During the search warrant, a black male, Dennis Bowie, 40, was placed under arrest for Felony Possession of a controlled substance after over 50 grams of Crack Cocaine was located and seized. Another Tree Closes Road
People who drive along FM1130 will be paying more attention to the road and the sky after a second tree fell across the road near the Cherokee Trails intersection, blocking it for a couple of hours before it was removed. On a warm, humid evening in Lufkin the LCM Lady Bears jumped out to a 4-0 lead on Bullard but they couldn't hold it as the Panthers scored 10 runs for the 10-4 win in Game One of their third round series.
