People who drive along FM1130 will be paying more attention to the road and the sky after a second tree fell across the road near the Cherokee Trails intersection, blocking it for a couple of hours before it was removed.
It happened Wednesday evening, less than a week after a tree fell across FM1130 near Bear Trails. Fortunately in both cases, no one was hurt.
Many believe the extreme drought we had last year, coupled with the heavy rains and wind the last month, have made many trees vulnerable.
