Two people were transported to a Beaumont hospital after a two vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon. The accident occurred in front of the Home Depot on Strickland Drive. Police received a call around 5:45pm about the accident. A Toyota Sequoia pulled out of the Home Depot parking lot and was struck by a Toyota pickup traveling on Strickland. I-10 Project Includes Artwork
The I-10 widening project in Orange includes artwork with a touch of Orange. There are several along the interstate in the Orange area, featuring an orange on the bottom and the state of Texas star near the top. TxDOT's Tanya Avila told KOGT, "The concrete artwork is part of the IH-10 project in Orange County. The development and implementation of the concrete monuments was a team effort that involved TxDOT and the City of Orange."
