The I-10 widening project in Orange includes artwork with a touch of Orange.
There are several along the interstate in the Orange area, featuring an orange on the bottom and the state of Texas star near the top.
TxDOT’s Tanya Avila told KOGT, “The concrete artwork is part of the IH-10 project in Orange County. The development and implementation of the concrete monuments was a team effort that involved TxDOT and the City of Orange.”
The artwork will be completed in the final phase of construction that is scheduled to happen in mid-2025. That completion may include a paint color on the orange.
