After writing a letter of apology on Thursday, Bridge City Coach Dwayne Dubois personally apologized to Te'Ron Brown of West Orange-Stark after Friday nights game. Dubois was apologizing after one of his players created a meme featuring a picture of Brown and a racial slur that was later posted on social media. The game was played without any outside disturbances. As a precaution more than 20 police officers from various agencies were patrolling the stadium. The Woodville Eagles did what the Orangefield Bobcats typically do best, and that is run the ball, control the clock and take advantage of opportunities when presented.
