Port Arthur police have arrested 45-year-old DeKobi LeRay Fisher of Orange in connection with a fatal hit-and-run that killed 64-year-old Kimberly Kay Viator.
Fisher was arrested Thursday morning at a Port Arthur job site on a warrant charging him with collision involving death.
Viator was struck by a vehicle around 9:30 p.m. Aug. 9 in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive. She was taken to a hospital, where she later died.
Police said investigators identified the vehicle and driver using surveillance video and license-plate reader technology. Fisher had not been arraigned and no bond had been set as of Thursday.
