
First responders in Orange were called in Wednesday to help save a Louisiana man who was working in the area.
It was reported that a man was operating a marsh excavator in one of the bayous when it rolled over, trapping the man inside the cab. After some time a man on the crew was able to reach the victim, get him out of the water, and begin CPR.
Orange Fire and Acadian were called in and they drove to a business at the end of Childers Road where they were taken by boat to get the victim. They continued CPR and had a slight pulse before he was air lifted to a Beaumont hospital. He left in serious condition but his current condition is unknown as of this post.
