Lamar State College-Port Arthur awarded 177 associate degrees and certificates at its Fall 2017 Commencement Ceremony held at the Parker Center in Port Arthur on Dec. 15.
Captain Jacqueline M. Twomey, commander of the U.S. Coast Guard Marine Safety Unit Port Arthur, delivered the keynote address and President Dr. Betty Reynard presided over the event.
LSCPA students earned a total of 86 associate of applied science degrees, 23 associate of arts degrees and 68 certificates of completion during the spring semester.
