The CCS Lions hosted the Ft. Bend Chargers Thursday Oct. 3rd. This game was a back and forth battle with the Chargers staying in the lead for the win. The Lions had their snapper Taylor Hogan and lineman Zeppellin Rodgers out with knee injuries leaving only eight Lions to play.. Levi Rogers, the Lions 6’7″ Junior played out of position as snapper and lineman. Sophomore Bryer Gray and freshman Isaac Rizzato had impressive defensive and offensive games. The Lions’ Junior quarterback James Menard had a great rushing and passing game.. Levi Rogers had a big night rushing in two touchdowns and catching several PAT passes. Senior Ryan Davis, who is a force on defense, caught his first touchdown pass of the season. The Lions with have a bi-week next week and travel to Baytown Christian {defending State Champions}the week after. Final score 44-46.
