
Larry Keith Sadler, age 74, of Orange, Texas, passed away in Beaumont, Texas, on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. Memorial service will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, beginning at 3:00 PM, at Dorman Funeral Home; Chaplain Steve Kidwell officiating. Visitation of family and friends will be held from 2:00 PM- 3:00 PM, Monday, April 14, 2025, at Dorman Funeral Home.
On Monday, September 4, 1950, Larry was born to Elsie Mae McKnight and Albert Weaver Sadler, in Orange, Texas. He grew up in Groves, Texas and graduated from Port Neches Groves High School, where he met Donna McNeely, the love of his life. They built a home together in Orangefield, Texas, where they raised 3 crazy red-headed children, along with an assortment of chickens, turkeys, goats, pigs, and rabbits.
He worked for 47 years in the petrochemical industry as a welder, pipefitter, estimator, and planner. He retired in 2015 so he could enjoy spending time with his family and friends and doing the things he loved.
Larry was an avid outdoorsman. He loved going to the hunting lease deer hunting and spending time with the boys. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the lake, fishing and swimming.
Larry is preceded in death by his father, Albert Weaver Sadler, his mother, Elsie Mae “Pinky” Sadler, his brother Albert Weaver Sadler, Jr., and his sister Vicky Lynn Bowlin.
Those left to cherish Larry’s memory are his loving wife of 56 years, Donna Marie Sadler. His children – daughter, Beverly (and Scott) Calkins, son Andy (and Janie) Sadler, and daughter Jennifer (and Paul) Hennigan. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren – Alex, Bethany, Carter, Zachary, Cade, Hayleigh, Emily, Devin, Grayson, and Clara,as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
