After going 1-2 in Pool Play Thursday, the Deweyville Lady Pirates came ready to play Saturday at the YMBL Tournament in Beaumont.
The Lady Pirates won the Small School Bracket by beating Legacy, Orangefield, Buna, and East Chambers 2-0 in the finals!
Raegan Chance was named the tournament MVP. Aleigha Raymer, Chesleigh Hamilton and Malaysia Jones were named to the All-Tournament Team. Coach Maci Wilmore was named Outstanding Coach of the Tournament.
On Friday Deweyville opened district with a win over Sabine Pass. They travel to West Hardin Tuesday.
