On October 14, 2026, Officers of the Bridge City Police Department received a call in reference to Animal Cruelty that had occurred in the 6300 block of FM 1442. During the investigation, Detectives located and positively identified a white male juvenile. The teen was witnessed and caught on video stomping a cat. The juvenile was taken into custody and transported to the Minnie Rogers Juvenile Justice Center in Jefferson County on the evening of October 15, 2026, with the assistance of the Orange County District Attorney’s Office and the Orange County Juvenile Probation Office. The white male juvenile is being charged with Cruelty to Animals – 3rd Degree Felony.
