James Michael Parfait “Jim,” 72, of Bridge City, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on 03/29/2026, surrounded by loved ones.
Jim was born on 05/07/1953 in Paris, Texas, to James and Bertha Parfait. The eldest of six, he was a helpful and caring big brother to Jody Parfait, Janice Cinco, Julie Zavala, Jeannie Treuil, Joseph Parfait, and a beloved uncle to 20 nieces and nephews.
Jim enjoyed bowling, camping, fishing, landscaping, traveling, creating art and cooking. He absolutely loved Christmas, often referring to it as a “magical time of the year.” Known for his endearing sense of humor, and no-nonsense personality, Jim was one-of-a-kind. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral and memorial arrangements are pending and will be announced by the family.
