The Orangefield Bobcats beat West Orange-Stark 5-1 Friday night at Cormier Field in a game heard on KOGT.
LHP Johnny Armstrong threw one hit ball for five innings, striking out six. In the third Armstrong hit Kaleb Istre who was later driven in on a hit by William Robles for the only Mustang run. Blake Bradley pitched the last two scoreless innings, striking out three and giving up hits to DaQuarious Gipson and Chad Dallas. WOS left nine on base.
For OF they were lead by two hits from Brett Fregia and also from Ryan Deutsch who also had a stolen, RBI, and run scored. Four of OF’s runs came in the fourth with the help of two hits, two walks, a bunt single and an infield hit.
Jacob Dominguez suffered the loss for WOS. Chad Dallas was penciled in as the starter but after warming up before the game he was scratched with a sore shoulder. He DH’d for Kaleb Ramsey.

Silsbee beat LCM 6-4. After taking a 4-0, the Bears battled back to tie it before the Tigers scratched out two runs for the win.

The Orangefield Lady Bobcats defeated the WO-S Lady Mustangs tonight 15-0 in 4 innings. Codie Sorge got the win on the mound going the distance giving up 2 hits with 7 K’s. Karlye Bramblett with 1 for 1 with a triple, a HBP and a walk with 3 runs scored and 2 RBI’s. Ryden Stanfield went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and 2 RBI’s. Kaylee Ancelot had 2 sac flies with 2 RBI’s. Autumn Frost went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles, a run scored and 2 RBI’s. Olivia Grant went 1 for 2 with a run scored and an RBI. Tiffany Ciancaglione went 2 for 3 with a run scored. Emma Humplik went 1/1 with a homerun, a HBP, a walk and 3 RBI’s. Kristin Broussard went 2 for 3 with 3 runs scored and an RBI. The Lady Bobcats improve to 20-8-1 on the year and 4-4 in district play.

On Senior Night, senior Kassidy Wilbur threw a no-hitter with 18K’s and was 1-1 at the plate with 3 intentional walks as the Lady Cards rolled Hamshire-Fannett 8-0. Abby Anderson had an RBI and two runs scored. Caitlin Denison went 2-4 with an RBI and a stolen base. Natalie Reed and Jalynne Burch went 1-3 and Austyn Daniels was 2-4 with 2 runs scored.
