Donna Gail Claybrook, a longtime resident of Vidor, Texas, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and cherished friend to many who knew her gentle heart and caring spirit.
Donna dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker, creating a warm and loving home where everyone always felt welcome. She found joy in the simple things in life, especially quilting, spending time with her beloved grandchildren, and caring for her chickens. She also enjoyed crocheting, doodling, baking bread and loved her cats. Her family was the center of her world, and has been researching family history for 40 years, she treasured every moment spent researching.
Donna was preceded in death by her mother Nita Greene.
She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Ricky Claybrook of Vidor, TX; her children, Jason Claybrook and wife Hunter of Fred, TX, and Aimee Hebert and husband Tyler of Orange, TX; father Larry Greene of Vidor, TX, her siblings, Tammie Loe, Randy Greene, and Ray Greene all of Vidor, TX. Donna also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren, Dallas Arnold, Rylee Hebert, Elyse Schaefer-Builta and husband Wyatt, Hunter Claybrook, Korbin Claybrook, Molly Claybrook, Myles Claybrook and Brylee Claybrook; along with one great-grandson, Walker Reid Schaefer-Builta, whom she loved dearly.
Donna will be remembered for her kind heart, her devotion to family, and the love she so freely gave to those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
