Diane M. Williams, 72, of Orange, Texas passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020.
Diane was born Mary Diana Lormand on December 16, 1947 in Orange, Texas. She graduated high school in Charleston, South Carolina. Diane worked several jobs during her lifetime including working for the Orange County Court House and The Oaks Living Center. She was the co-owner of Whites Drive-In Grocery, and the Owner of Glass Creations and Touch of Glass. She operated her own customized stained-glass business in Orange for 30 years. Diane was a true Artisan and created beautiful stain glass original works of art to include Church windows and customized glass designs. Her greatest joy was spending time and talking with her grandchildren.
Diane is survived by her two loving daughters Ila Williams and Teisha Williams, two brothers Jimmy Everett and Darrell Urey, and five grandchildren Autumn Alexander, Corey and Casey Shires, and Mandie and Ninfa Santibanez.
Diane was preceded in death by her mother Helen LaBelle Urey (Clark), stepfather Paul Urey, adopted-father Freeland Everett, and the love of her life, Alton Ray Williams.
Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home, and her final resting place will be at Evergreen cemetery in Orange, Texas. At her request, a funeral service will not be held.
