Bonnie R. Turnbull, aged 80, of Orange, Texas, entered eternal rest on January 11, 2025, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love. Born on July 13, 1944, in San Diego, California, Bonnie brought sunshine and kindness wherever she went.
A devoted and industrious individual, carved out a commendable career as the owner of Turnbull Bookkeeping and Tax Service, a venture that spoke to her keen intellect and meticulous nature. In addition, she served as the Controller at Taylor Metal Works, where her organizational skills and dedication were highly valued.
Bonnie’s vibrant personality shone brightly through her love for arranging flowers, a talent that reflected her artistic spirit. She also adored her beloved canine companions, especially her loyal Jack Russell, Patches, who was a constant source of joy and companionship in her life. Known for her warmth, Bonnie held special parties that became treasured gatherings for family and friends alike.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Elicia Dillon and her husband, Michael; Monica Lemoine and her husband, Gerald; Colette Turnbull; and Dana Turnbull and her husband Robert Franklin. Her legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren, Stephanie Roy, Jared Dillon, Tyler Buchanan and his wife, Joann, Steven Hoffpauir, and Monique Hoffpauir, in addition to her great-grandchildren, Taylor, Kailyn, Evelyn, Gavin, Cecil, and Jaxster.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 34 years, Royce Turnbull, and her loving parents, William and Louetta Crusenberry. Her family, though heartbroken, will carry her spirit forward and remember her with great affection.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on January 15, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, 2001 Nall St, Port Neches, TX 77651. Bonnie’s indelible spirit will be missed but forever cherished by those who knew and loved her.
