9:30am- update-road now open
At approximately 4:24 AM on April 8, 2026, officers responded to a traffic accident in the area of IH-10 and Pine Street in Beaumont.
Investigations revealed that an 18-wheeler crashed into a guardrail and left the highway while taking the Pine Street exit westbound.
The driver of the 18-wheeler has been transported to the hospital for medical treatment.
The westbound entrance to IH-10 from downtown will be closed.
Motorists should expect major delays and are advised to use alternate routes until further notice. Updates regarding the road closure and the status of the accident will be provided as they become available.
