The LCM Bears won a share of the District 10-4A title with a 41-7 win at Splendora Friday night.
LCM (8-2, 4-1) wasted little time getting the offense started with a 28-0 halftime lead. Da’Marion Morris scored three times in the first half on runs of 22, 2, and four followed by extra points from Justin Rainey.
Dwight Davis also picked up a fumble and returned it 65 yards for the score.
In the second half the Wildcats would get on the board with a 69 yd. TD pass. but the Bears would respond with a 40 yd TD pass from Ashton Landry to Keaton Rives. In the fourth quarter Landry would find Kyle Pelt for a 16 yd. score and the win.
LCM will play Palestine in the BiDistrict Round on Friday at 7:30 at Willis HS.
