Bridge City QB Hutch Bearden is the Week 1 KOGT Player of the Week sponsored by Granger Chevrolet.
Bearden played the first half and one series in the second half and amassed some incredible numbers. He was 8-9 for 175 yds. and 3 TD’s. And he ran the ball 11 times for 126 yds. and 2 touchdowns.
Honorable Mention to Anterrion Fontenot of WOS. Fontenot had 18 tackles along with a fumble recovery and he caused a fumble in the win over Newton.
