Charlene Jones was born October 21, 1963, and passed away September 25, 2026, at the age of 62.
Charlene was a strong-willed, loving woman with a wonderful sense of humor and a heart full of love for her family. She cherished her family deeply, but her grandchildren held a very special place in her heart.
Charlene enjoyed the simple things in life, watching scary movies and documentaries, keeping her home neat and clean, and spending time with the people she loved. She was also a wonderful cook, especially known for her delicious chicken and dumplings, a meal her family will always remember and treasure.
Some of her happiest memories were made on beach trips with her grandchildren. Those moments of laughter, sunshine, and togetherness were precious to her and will remain precious to her family.
She is survived by her children, Hannah Hooks and husband Gilbert, and Codi Reed; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; mother, Aileene Shoemaker; 2 sisters; 2 brothers; and numerous extended family members.
She is preceded in death by her son, Randy Reed; father, James Myers; and siblings, Donald Myers and Melissa Myers.
Celebration of life will be held at a later date by the family.
