Carl Monroe Moore, 81, died Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Beaumont Health Care Center.
Carl was a lifelong resident of Vidor and retired as a millwright. He enjoyed spending his time around horses, working cattle, and operating heavy equipment. Carl was a hardworking man who enjoyed staying busy and will be remembered by his family and friends for the life he shared with them.
He is survived by his brother, Arthur Moore of Vidor, Texas; sister-in-law, Ann Moore of Pasadena, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many local friends.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Cliffton and Mona Moore; brothers, Roland Moore and Joseph Moore; and sister-in-law, Mary Moore.
Carl will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Memorial Gathering will be Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 11:00AM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, 1750 Hwy. 12, Vidor, TX 77662.
