A 3 year old child was struck by a vehicle at the Murphy gas station in front of the West Orange Wal-Mart Saturday night.
Just after 8pm the child got out of a Ford Explorer and was going to another vehicle when he was struck by a Dodge truck according to a witness.
The child was taken to a Beaumont hospital by Acadian where he was later pronounced deceased by Jefferson County JP Ben Collins.
West Orange police were assisted by Orange Police and Fire and DPS.
