
On May 23, 2026, an investigation was initiated into the suspicious death of Kelly Taylor Mariah Little. During the course of this investigation, multiple witnesses came forward with evidence collected that has led investigators to examine the activities of Cody Allen Laviolette.
On the evening of July 10, 2026, Cody Allen Laviolette, a 36 year old tattoo artist living in Onalaska, was arrested by the Polk County Sheriff’s Department on charges of Aggravated Assault Felony 2 and unlawful restraint a Felony 3. His mother, Patty Laviolette, was also arrested on charges of Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance a State Jail Felony.
As the investigation has progressed, several women have come forward to report their interactions with Cody Laviolette. Investigators have also identified additional individuals who may have information but could be reluctant to come forward because they believe, based on statements allegedly made by Cody, that he is protected by his and his family’s influence in the Onalaska area.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who may have witnessed criminal activity involving Cody Laviolette or who believe they may have been a victim to contact investigators. Information provided by witnesses and victims may assist in addressing these matters and advancing the ongoing investigation.
