The Bridge City Lady Cardinals continued to dominate their district competition with a 70-23 win over Lumberton (4-6) to improve to 10-0 in 18-4A.
Mia Sterling was brilliant from the field knocking down five 3-pointers for a total of 21 pts. Six different players hit from three and finished with 12 made. Kennedy Campbell also had a big game leading the team with 5 rebounds, 6 assists and she finished with 9 points. Aubrey Small had 11 and Kaylee Britten 10. BC travels to Silsbee Friday.

Orangefield beat East Chambers at home 59–51. Olivia Smith led the way with 21 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals. Mikayla Locke was right behind her with 20 points, 3 steals, and 2 assists. Madison McCormack added 7 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals to help secure the win.
The JV Lady Bobcats also had a strong night, earning a 39–20 victory. Maddie Breaux led the team with 8 points, a huge 13 rebounds, and 5 steals. Brooklyn Bishop finished with 6 points and 3 rebounds, while Piper Pollet chipped in 5 points and 3 steals. The Lady Bobcats will be back on the road this Friday as they travel to Buna to take on the Lady Cougars. The JV will tip off at 4:30, with varsity to follow.

The LCM Lady Bears swept the Lady Pirates at home. The varsity got the win 45-24 over the pirates moving them to 8-2 in district play. Maya Meadows had 10 points, Kendall Jones and Emily Smith each had 9, and Taylor Huckaby had 8.
The JV got the night started with a 35-16 victory. Ava Shugart and Hope Prejean each had 8 points. Cheynne Dickerson had 6, and Haylynn Trosclair had 5. The Lady Bears will travel to Lumberton Friday for a big district match up. The JV will play at 5:00 and varsity at 6:00.

BOYS
Bridge City doubled Lumberton 60-30. Cardinals (20-9, 9-0) were led by Jiraiya Jennings with 15 points, Aaden Bush with 11, and Braydon Denison with 10. With the win tonight the Cardinals clinch a playoff birth! Cardinals will resume play at home on Friday against the Silsbee Tigers.

Vidor stopped a three game losing streak by beating LCM 69-45.

Deweyville lost a tough one to Danbury 55-48 despite a monster game from Heath Picou who had 22 points and 26 rebounds. Kamen Collins added 14 pts and 5 assists.

Vidor recorded their 12th shutout with a 6-0 win over BC Tuesday to start 3-0 in district.
