Clue #1
America celebrates its 250th birthday this year. And Orange, Texas is home of the Reds, White Water Car Wash and Blue Coffee, or is that Brew Coffee? Just play along because you’re not going to find it today anyway! The land of the free rolls at Spanky’s and home of birdwatching at Shangri La!
Fun Fact: 28 other countries follow the United States with the colors red, white and blue in their flags. The colors of the American flag symbolize specific national ideals: red represents valor and bravery, white signifies purity and innocence, and blue symbolizes vigilance, perseverance, and justice.

Clue #2
Some of you will remember the patriotic commercial, “Baseball, hot dogs apple pie and Chevrolet” which is still about as American as it gets. I’m sure with social media there would be plenty in Orange County to argue differently. They’d probably say something like, “Smoke Shops, Nail Shops, RV Parks and Donuts.”
Either way it’s about progress and being resilient so let our symbol be your guide.
Speaking of baseball, the Hall of Famer Yogi Berra once said, “When you get to the fork in the road, take it.”
Fun Fact: Benjamin Franklin is the only founding father that signed all four key documents that led to the formation of the United States. But he was never President.

Clue #3
Whichever fork you took could still lead you to the prize if you’re a crook. If you’re a snake in the grass it could get you a pass. Hey, I’m a poet and didn’t know it.
Fun Fact: America is the only nation to have the Bald Eagle as its National Bird. Meantime the Golden Eagle is the most popular national bird. Austria, Albania, Germany, Ghana, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Romania, and Yemen all claim the Aquila chrysaetos as its National Bird.
