After an 0-3 start the Bridge City Cardinals evened their district record Tuesday, beating LCM 6-4 at home. Sam Carpenter got the complete game win with 8K’s while Zach McNeil took the loss for the Bears (3-3). Carpenter also added a two run single. LCM’s Anthony Bandiero had a solo HR in the fourth.
Vidor was down 6-0 to Silsbee before scoring 5 runs in the seventh. They fell short 6-5. The Pirates (2-4) will travel to BC Friday. Silsbee (5-1) will host Orangefield (5-1).
WOS lost to Lumberton 4-2. The Mustangs fall to (0-6) while Lumberton is 3-3.

LCM 3 BC 2 – The Lady Bears (7-1) came back from a 2-0 deficit to tie the game. In the seventh Karson Friar reached base on an error. Shae Fontenot reached base on a close play at first allowing Friar to come in for the winning score. BC drops to 5-3.
Lumberton defeated WOS 15-0 in four innings.
Vidor defeated Silsbee 9-3. Skyler Head was 3-3 with an RBI. Brooklyn Bushelle was 2-3 with 2RBI’s. Aarilyn Richardson got the win, striking out 4 and walking none.
Deweyville stayed unbeaten in district with a 17-5 win over West Hardin. It was another day at the office Lacie McCollough with three homeruns and 7RBI’s. Bree Clark, Chloe Landry, and Amielle Bussell also had a multi-hit night.
