An elderly woman shut down the Subway on 16th Street Sunday after running into the building not once, but twice. The accident happened around 11:30am across from the Northway Shopping Center
First responders said she appeared to be driving around the back of the building to the Subway drive through. She hit the corner of Five Point Credit Union, continued driving to the back of the building, and drove into the back of TSO, busting a gas line.
The area had to be evacuated as her car sat on top of the busted gas line and authorities were still on the scene as of 1:45pm. The woman was taken away by family with minor injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
