Many teams are off this week. Meantime several are looking to stay undefeated while a handful are looking for win number one.
SUBVARSITY
The JV Orangefield Bobcats played host to the Little Cypress – Mauriceville bears. It was a hard fought battle that did not go the Bobcats way with a 14 to 6 loss. Case Comeaux would score the lone touchdown for the offense on a touchdown pass from Logan Anderson. The defense would keep the Bobcats in the game all night long. Jacob Walters and Kolte Morgan anchored the defensive line controlling the bear offense most of the night. The Bobcats had the ball at the end with a chance to tie the game, however weather would be the ultimate winner on the night, ending the game with a minute to go with too much lightning in the area. The Bobcats fought hard all night. The JV will host the Hardin Hornets JV next Thursday at 5.
