
Natalie Morrison hits the bucket as the Vidor Lady Pirates improved to 5-4 in district with a 53-42 win at WOS. The game was much closer than the score indicates. WOS had 36-32 lead after three. But Vidor’s full court press in the fourth forced too many Mustang turnovers.

BC lost to Silsbee 49-31. Kaylee Britten scored 9 and recorded 3 steals to lead BC. Nicole Sasser had 8 rebounds.

The Lady Bobcats took on the Buna Lady Cougars and won 52-41. Freshman MiKayla Locke had 23 points, 4 rebounds and 6 steals. Rebecca Durbin had a double double with 14 points, 11 rebounds and a block. Greenlea Oldham had 9 rebounds and 7 points. Kaylea Gravett had points and 4 assists and Paisley Reeves grabbed 4 rebounds and took an awesome charge. The JV got the night started with a 45-5 win over the Cougars. Kendall Sullivan had 20 points, 7 steals and 5 rebounds. Eliese Gravett 11 points, 7 rebounds, 8 steals and 6 assists. Madison McCormack had 10 points and 13 steals. Harleigh Beaudoin had 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Cassidy Childers also had 4 steals. The Lady Bobcats will be traveling to Hardin on Friday to take on the Lady Hornets. JV will start at 4:30 with varsity to follow.
BOYS
Orangefield beat Buna 55-24 to improve to 7-1 in district and 25-4 overall. Jaden Scales lead the Bobcats with 21 points 4 assists. Also Zane Wrinkle 13 points 5 rebounds, Griffin Thomas 8 points 4 rebounds. OF will travel to Hardin Friday.

BC lost to Silsbee 104-53. Aaden Bush scored 12, Lincoln Breaux 11, and AG Gutierrez 10 for the Cards. BC is now 5-2 (19-11). They travel to LCM Friday.

WOS beat Vidor on the road 65-64. Andrew Cooper 22 points, Jamicheal Davis 14 Points, Javonte Richards 11 points for the Mustangs.
