
A Vidor man has been indicted by a Jefferson County Grand Jury for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second degree felony.
Beaumont Police report on March 3, the girlfriend of Brian Austin McWade, 30, was driving a white Ram pickup when she got into a verbal argument with McWade.
During the argument McWade picked up a cologne bottle and hit her in the face while she was driving. He then stabbed her in the hand with a knife while she was traveling down the road and threatened to kill her family. Finally, the affidavit of probable cause said he grabbed the wheel and pulled it down, causing them to wreck in the 2000 block of Cardinal Drive.
McWade was arrested and his girlfriend pressed charges and was treated for her injuries.
