Day Two
The McNeese team of Manuel and Murray moved up 12 spots to 40th place after catching two fish for a two day total of 9-9. But it was not enough to make the cut for the final day.
Day One
The Bassmaster College Championship began Thursday in Oklahoma at Lake Tenkiller. It was a tough day for most with 102 degree heat. Fifty teams did not weigh in a bass.
A team from Bethel University has the lead at 16-10 followed by Sam Houston State at 15-14. McNeese’s Trent Manuel (LCM) and his partner Alex Murray are 52nd weighing in two fish. Lamar’s Luke Potter and Steven Thomas are 56th with just one fish weighed in.
The tournament continues through Saturday.
