
Tod Duane Kirkland, 61, of Vidor, passed away on Saturday, October 18th, 2025, at his residence. Tod was a longtime resident of both Evadale and Vidor. He was a proud member of First Baptist Church in Vidor and the Masonic Lodge #1286. Throughout his career, he worked as a skilled electrician and retired from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #479 in Beaumont. A true outdoorsman, Tod loved to fish and hunt, spending countless peaceful hours surrounded by nature. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan who never missed a game and enjoyed cheering on his favorite team every season. Tod will be deeply missed by his mother and dad, Ruby and Jerry Foreman of Vidor, TX; stepsisters Christine Delarosa and husband Eric of Vidor, TX, and Tracie Sharpe of Rose City, TX; and by his “sisters of the heart,” Jami Poteet of Vidor, TX, and Devin Cooke of Richland Center, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his father, Elvis Kirkland, and grandparents Frank and Tharon Kirkland and Floyd and Vera Bryan.
