Join us for a colorful evening of art, music and community as we celebrate the opening of our newest special exhibition.
Opening Reception:
We invite you on Saturday, April 18, from 5-7 p.m. to enjoy an evening at the Museum with small bites and sangria from Free State Cellars, live music by David Justin and be among the first to experience this exciting new exhibition.
About the Exhibition:
“The Color Orange” explores the fascinating history, uses and emotional impact of one vibrant color – orange. Featuring works from the Stark Museum of Art’s collection spanning the 1500s through the 2000s, the exhibition reveals how artists across cultures and centuries have used orange to bring their works to life.
But the experience doesn’t stop at looking. Visitors are invited to explore the color for themselves. Hands-on activities throughout the exhibition encourage guests of all ages to react to, experiment and even create with the color orange.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
