The Stark Cultural Venues has moved the annual Symphony of Southeast Texas concert at Shangri La to the Lutcher Theater on October 20. Shangri La Director Rick Lewandowski said rain made the grounds wet.
He said the theater is being decorated to give it a fall Shangri La feel for the concert.
However, concert ticketholders will still be able to go through Shangri La gardens. He said symphony patrons will be able to see the Scarecrow Festival entries and enjoy the fall decorations and blooms. They are also welcomed to bring a picnic dinner and enjoy it outside before the theater concert.
Shangri La will be open from Sunday 1 to 4 p.m. The concert at the Lutcher Theater will start at 5 p.m.
