SOFTBALL
LCM got some revenge on Lumberton after an earlier season loss, beating the Lady Raiders 11-7 in a long contest. Ella Stephenson battled for the complete game win giving up 2 earned runs on five hits with 8K’s and 8 walks.
Offensively senior Jacelynn Cook (above) was 2-4 with a 3-run triple, a walk, and 2 runs scored. Keylie Washburn had a run scoring triple. The Bears are now 6-3 in district.

Another milestone night for BC pitcher Carson Fall. She threw a no hitter and struck out nine to go over 1000 for her career as the Cards shutout Vidor 12-0 in 5 innings. Lexi Nugier drove in two and scored two while Anna Autrey and Kylie Hamilton had two hits each. Makenna Knight had a two run double.

BASEBALL
Bridge City lost to Lumberton 7-4. The game was tied after seven and Lumberton scored three in the 8th. After loading the bases on 2 walks and a single, another walk brought in the first run. On the next ball put in play, two errors were made bringing in the other two runs. BC is 5-2 in district.
