The Greenville Drive activated pitcher Chase Shugart from the restricted list on May 27 and then he started for the Boston Class A affiliate that night and beat the Augusta Greenjackets 6-4.
Shugart got the win, striking out six and walking one in 5.1 innings. He gave up two runs on two hits and hit one batter. He faced 20 batters and threw 77 pitches, 48 for strikes, and has an ERA of 3.38.
