On Monday, March 04, 2024, the City of Orange Police Department received complaints of scammers contacting citizens in reference to “urgent legal matters”. The caller is identifying themselves as “Sergeant Chuck Steele” with ‘Orange County PD”. This caller is urging citizens to contact them at 409-420-3458. This, or any variation of such, is a scam.
