Recently, the City of Pinehurst received two grants from the general land office.
The first one for just over $1 million is to replace all 90 fire hydrants in the city of Pinehurst. The other grant for more than $2 million is to do some much needed drainage improvements and culvert replacement in the city.
City manager Robbie Hood said, “The city of Pinehurst is very grateful to the general land office for this opportunity to provide meaningful improvements for our citizens.”
