
Dr. Russell and Temple Perry of Bridge City were crowned King and Queen of Mardi Gras in Orange on Saturday night during the Krewe of Krewe’s Grande Ball at the VFW.
The VFW was transformed into a Fairytale Ball celebrating Duke and Duchesses from four different krewes before the crowning of the King and Queen. They included:
Duke and Duchess of Sugar Rush, Raul and Geneva Cortez
Duke and Duchess of La Petite Rouge, Brad and Terri Childs
Duke and Duchess of Bayou Dreams, Andre and Lanier Robertson
Duke and Duchess of Wonderland, Khris and Cheryl Taylor
The Captains of Mischief for the ball were Kevin and Alyson Smith and the emcee was Gary Stelly.
Following the pageant the party moved to the dance floor with Paper Chase out of New Orleans playing the tunes along with DJ Alex Murphy from Pro Motion.

MG Ball committee included Kathy Brown, Cheryl Zeto, Becky Trahan, Glynis Gothia, Trisha Spears, Ida Schossow, Ericka Smith, Crystole Collins-Lewis and Juanita Smith.
