
A Jefferson County Grand Jury has indicted a Bridge City man for intoxication manslaughter after two people were killed following an accident on I-10 back in August 2025.
On August 9 just before 3am, Jesus Mario Medina, 29, of Bridge City was driving a Chevrolet Colorado when he struck a Ford from behind on I-10 near Harrison Ave. Both caught fire. Two people in the Ford were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people were hospitalized.
According to officers, Medina admitted to drinking alcohol. Medina was arrested following the crash and later released on a $200,000 bond.
