Emanuel Taylor was born June 29, 1937, in Vinton, LA to Ora Rayon and Earnest Budwine. Growing into adulthood, he enlisted in the U.S. Army in Shreveport, LA. Emanuel served in the Korean War. Completing his enlistment he was Discharged With Honors. He resided in Orange, TX since 1958. Working years were spent as a Pipefitter at the American Bridge Shipyard, which later became Pittsburgh Steel. He retired in 2000 after 24 years of service.
