The City of Orange has continued to step up the renovations of several of their parks and Levingston Park could be next on the list with the help of Golden Triangle Polymers. Most people don't know where Levingston Park is in Orange. It's on Adams Bayou and can be accessed from Border St. in Orange. New Bridge Gets Green Light
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) is announcing a major development in the new Calcasieu River Bridge project. The $2.3 billion Interstate 10 Calcasieu River Bridge megaproject in Lake Charles has officially reached a financial close. The Notice to Proceed has been issued. This allows the contractor, Calcasieu Bridge Partners, to begin work on the project. DOTD and CBP signed the public-private partnership (P3) in January to build the new bridge. Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at approximately 3:30 PM, deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) and Precinct 5 Constable’s Office (HCC4) were notified of a possible homicide occurring at a home located in the 2500 block of Wells Station Court, Harris County. On arrival, deputies searched the home and found what appeared to evidence suggesting foul play. However there was no one found at the home.
